Tapioca halwa - Kappa halwa

Tapioca halwa - Ever wondered making halwa with tapioca???Here's how...Follow this simple recipe...



Ingredients:

Tapioca:500 grams

Milk:1/2 cup

Sugar:3/4 cup

Milk powder:1 tbsp

Ghee:1/4 cup

Food colour:just a pinch

Cashews:5 to 6

Preparation:

Pressure cook the tapica..

Peel the skin of the tapioca...

After peeling the skin,grate the tapioca with a grater...

You can also mash the tapioca if you want...

Only make sure there are no lumps...

Take a pan and add in the milk and add the tapioca and let this mixture boil for a few minutes...

Add in the sugar and the milk powder and mix well..



Add the ghee once the mixture reduces...

Add only a pinch of the food colour so that the oroginal colour of the tapioca is retained...

In a seperate pan ghee fry cashews ans keep them ready...

Once the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan add a little more ghee and remove from the stove..

Tasty tapioca halwa is reay!!

  6. Some great thoughts, and I'll certainly take it onboard with my writing. I can't help but think you should take a look at a film called 'Freedom Deep' when talking about 'Book of Eli'. The Denzel film shares a staggering amount of similarities to this independent Australian film, particularly the main characters and themes. Hell, even a lot of the shots and scenes are familiar! Keep up the good work, this blog is worth its weight in gold!
