Cherupayar thoran - Green gram stirfry is a tasty and healthy stirfry..Can be had with boiled rice..Can be had as a snack also...
Ingredients:
Green gram:1 cup
Grated coconut:1/4 cup
Onion:1/2 cup,chopped finely
Salt to taste
Dried red chilly:1
Mustard seeds:1/4 tsp
Few curry leaves
Oil:1/2 tsp
Preparation:
Soak the green gram in water overnight and cook with little salt…
Once it is almost cooked strain the water..
Take a pan and on medium heat add oil..
Add in mustard seeds,dried red chilly and curry leaves…
Add in the finely chopped onion and fry till golden..
Then add in the green gram and mix well..
Finally add in the grated coconut and mix well..
Remove from the flame..
Tasty and nutritious green gram stir fry is ready..
